Surcharges & Discounts

Manage surcharges, discounts, and staff permissions for applying them.

Set Up a Surcharge or Discount

Dashboard > Settings > Store Settings > Surcharges & Discount
  1. Click "Add Surcharge" or "Add Discount"
  2. Enter Surcharge or Discount Name. This will be listed on the receipt
  3. Enter Surcharge or Discount Rate. This can be set as a percentage or amount 

Add Surcharge or Discount to Order

  1. On the Payment screen, tap surcharge or discount
  2. Select a preset surcharge/discount or manually enter a value or percentage

Set up permissions on Surcharge & Discount

Dashboard > Employee > Set Roles

Set permissions to control whether staff can apply surcharges or discounts.

  1. Click the role that you want to make changes.
  2. Select the necessary permissions under Order for each employee role
  3. Restart the POS to apply the permission changes
