Printer & Receipt Format Settings

Printer settings help manage your restaurant more easily. You can also customize your receipt, kitchen tickets, and more.

Receipt Format Settings

After logging into your Dashboard, Go to Receipt Settings

You can see a list of receipt formats created. And you can also add more formats according to your needs. There are 5 kinds of prints:

  • Sales Receipt: It will be printed after an order is paid or before as a check.
  • Kitchen/Runner Ticket: Based on your kitchen setup, you can create different kitchen ticket formats for different stations. It will be printed when an order is sent to the kitchen.
  • Packer Receipt: It will be printed when an order is sent to the kitchen.
  • Label: It will be printed when an order is sent to the kitchen (usually used by tea shops)
  • Closeout Report: It will be printed at the end of the day. When doing a closeout or shift report on POS

There is a list of settings for each type of prints to customize how the prints will look like. Click "Save" after the format looks good. You can also add a new receipt format by clicking the "+ New receipt format" button.

After you are done with the receipt format settings, you should go to Printer Settings to set up the printers at your restaurant.

Printer Settings

Step 1. Find Printer Settings 

  • After logging into your Dashboard, Go to POS Settings
  • Choose the Branch you want to make changes to.  
  • Click the Printer Setting tab to see the Printer Settings of the selected branch.

Step 2. General printer settings

  • Print receipt after pay: Switch on to automatically print the sales receipt after the order is paid.
  • Print credit card Information along with order details: Switch on to print the credit card information and order on one receipt
  • Print customer number slip: Switch on to print a number slip for To Go and Stay orders.
  • Require gift card signature: Switch on to print a signature line on the gift card receipt
  • Credit card receipt: 
    • Print both merchant and customer copy, 
    • Only print merchant or customer receipt,
    • None: No credit card receipt

Step 3. Create, edit, or delete printers

Make sure the hardware(printers) has been connected to the POS.

Click a printer or click the "+ Add Printer" button to make changes or craete a new printer

    • Printer Name: Name the printer. The printer name must be the same as the printer name shown in your POS computer system settings. You can use the same printer for multiple purposes by giving them the same name.
    • Receipt Format: Select the format that will be printed from the dropdown.
    • Copies: Set the number of copies to be printed.
    • Order Type: Print based on the selected order type.
    • Language: Receipt languages.
    • (For kitchen printers)Menu items: Print selected items to this printer.

    • Click "Save" to save the printer settings.
