Printer settings help manage your restaurant more easily. You can also customize your receipt, kitchen tickets, and more.
Printers and settings
Step 1. Find POS settings in settings
- Log in to the backend management system and enter POS settings.
- Select a branch
- Click Printer Settings to view the printer settings for that branch.
Step 2. Check your printer settings
Part One: How do you want to print your receipt?

Print receipt before/after payment.

Print credit card information and order details.

Print custom number slips.

Gift card signature required
- Credit card receipt:
- Print copies of merchant and customer receipts

Print only merchant or customer receipts
- Do not print: Do not print a credit card receipt
Part Two: Modify printer settings.
Make sure the hardware (printer) is connected to the POS/router. Go to Hardware > Printers for more details.

Printer listHere you can see all printers listed and related settings:

Before closing the pop-up window, click "Save."

Printer name: You can rename the printer.
- Receipt format: Select a format from the drop-down list. (How do I change the receipt format?)

Copy: Set up to print a copy of the receipt.

Order Type: Prints a receipt based on the selected order type.
- Language: The language of the receipt.

Menu items: Print the selected items on this printer.
- Self-service printer: Enable self-service printers to print customer transaction receipts from self-service kiosks. (Learn more about self-service? https://abcpos.com/software/self-ordering/)
How do I add a new printer?
Step 1. Make sure the new printer is connected to your device. (Go to Hardware > Printers for more details.)
Step 2. Click "Add Printer" to open the pop-up window
Step 3. Fill in the required printer information and click "Save"
