POS Online Order

Receive a new order

When a new order comes to the POS, it would show a notification on the POS screen to notify the staff. At the same time, the POS will play sound continuously until the new order is recognized or missed.

Tap the “Online Order” icon to enter the Online Order List screen and view all the online orders received. The orders are grouped by their status, and it shows a summary of each order including the order type, payment, total, and customer information.

To filter the orders with status, tap an order status on the left. You can also search for an order with the order number using the search bar at the top.

Accept an order

Tap “View Order” to see the order details.

It shows the order type, customer name, phone number, address, order time, and payment information at the top. Below it shows the items and order total. Tap the “Accept” button to accept the order. When accepting an order, the staff needs to select an estimated ready time for the order to be picked up or delivered.

Once accepted, the order will be sent to the kitchen right away. Once accepted, the order status will become “In Progress”. And the customer will receive a confirmation email with the estimated time and the order details.

Then, the staff marks the order as “Ready”. Once marked ready, the customer will get a text notification to inform them that the order is ready to be delivered or picked up. The order can then be marked as “Completed”.

If the order hasn’t been paid yet, it’s required for the staff to pay for the order first. The payment screen is the same as paying for a regular order in the store.

Reject an order

When viewing a new order, the staff can also tap “Reject” to reject that order. When rejecting an order, a warning screen appears to confirm with the staff that tapping the “Reject” button didn’t happen by mistake. Once confirmed, the order would be rejected.

After the order is rejected, the customer would receive a rejection email to inform them that their order has been canceled. If the order was paid, the payment would also be refunded to the customer via their chosen payment method.
