Branding & website customization

  • A cover image and a logo can be uploaded in Online Order > General Settings. The images uploaded must match the size and measurement limits. After uploading the cover image and the branding logo, they will show up in your online ordering website header.

  • You can also choose a color in Online Order > General Settings > Style. We now offer 6 theme colors that you can choose from. The theme color would reflect on your online ordering website.

Popular items

  • On the restaurant online ordering website, the popular items are shown above all items to catch the attention of customers and promote the items. There are 2 ways for the restaurant to set the popular items shown here at the top.
  • To set up the popular items to show on the online ordering website, go to Online Order > General Settings > Popular Items.

By default, the popular items are manually selected. The user can select up to 3 items to be shown here. If none of the items is chosen, the popular items section would be hidden on the online ordering website. The second way is to automatically generate popular items by the actual sales of all items and pick the top 3 items to be shown here.

Pickup service settings

Go to Order Type > Pickup to set up the pickup service for your online ordering website. Turn the switch on to allow the customers to take pickup orders. If you don’t want your customers to take pickup orders for a future time, turn the “Allow customer to schedule their preferred pickup time” switch off.

Then, you need to set the service hours for your pickup service. The pickup service doesn’t need to be the same as your store’s opening hours. Your customers will only be able to take pickup orders during the selected service hours so you don’t receive orders after or before your opening hours.

Delivery service settings

For the delivery order type, delivery zones must be set so your customers can see whether their address is within the delivery range of your restaurant when they try to take a delivery order on the website.

You can create up to 5 delivery zones and set different requirements for them. There are 2 ways to set up a delivery zone: The first is to create a circle delivery zone. A circle delivery zone determines the distance between your store and the maximum direct distance you would deliver to. The second is to create a shape delivery zone. You are able to drag and draw an irregular shape on the map to indicate the boundary of the delivery zone.

After drawing the delivery zone on the map, you can also set up the minimum order required for the delivery zone and the delivery fee. When a customer enters their address on your online ordering website, it will be determined which delivery zone the address lies in. If the address is in multiple delivery zones, the system will automatically pick the one that has the lowest  delivery fee. Then, the minimum order limit will be applied when the customer takes orders.

Payment method settings

There are 3 different payment methods available for ABCPOS Online Ordering: Credit Card, Cash, and Card at counter.

You can turn the switch on or off to enable or disable the payment method for specific order types. If the payment method is disabled for pickup, for example, that payment method would no longer show up when paying for the order.

For some restaurants, you can also set up a service fee to charge your customers. You can rename the service fee and update the service fee rate. The service fee will be automatically applied to the orders when the customer chooses the payment method selected.

Online order report

Go to your Back Office > Reports > Online Order. You can view the performance of your online ordering website. You are able to see the total sales and sales tickets within a selected time period. The report also shows the percentage of each payment type received and the percentage of the order total of different order status.

The table at the bottom of the report shows detailed data of your online ordering website performance. You can choose to print or export the table by clicking the buttons above the table.
