Create a loyalty member
You can create a loyalty member through the POS system or the Back Office. Once created, the customer will be able to earn points and enjoy benefits immediately.
Option 1: POS
- Create a new customer and click Save, or choose an existing customer.
- Enable Membership
- Optional: Link a physical membership card by entering its number
Option 2: Back Office
Customer Profiles > Add Customer- Enter customer information
- Enable Loyalty Member
Once the customer profile is created, a membership card number will automatically be assigned and displayed under their Customer Profile
Loyalty Points & Payment
How loyalty members can earn points, pay with points, and reload credits
Earn Points
To ensure that loyalty members earn points, find their customer profile by scanning their QR code or searching for their phone number
Pay with points
Ensure that Loyalty is selected under Active Payment Types. Link to Payment Settings Article
- Take customer order and select Loyalty as payment
- Customer will need to swipe their member card or scan their QR code in the loyalty app
Redeem Points
- Navigate to Gift Card/Loyalty depending on how your POS was customized
- Scan the loyalty QR code or swipe the loyalty card to display customer details
- Press Redeem Points
- Input the number of points the customer would like to redeem
- A pop up window will confirm if points were redeemed successfully and will show the customer's updated balance of points and credit
Reload credits
- Navigate to Gift Card/Loyalty depending on how your POS was customized
- Scan the loyalty QR code or swipe the loyalty card to display customer details
- Press Reload Credits
- Select or input the amount the customer wants to reload
