Inventory

Abcpos has two ways to manage your inventory :

  • A simplified Countdown inventory management system: Calculate by countable menu items, for example, bottled water, soda, etc.  
  • A detailed Composition Inventory management system:
    This helps you to track the ingredient usage of your composition menu items.  For example, milk tea, burger, etc.

Inventory items & ingredients

In this section, you may create both inventory items for simplified Countdown inventory management and ingredients for detailed Composition Inventory management.

    Create Inventory Item Group


    Create Inventory Items

    1. Select an “Item Group” then start adding items

    2. Click the “ Add Inventory Item” button

    3. Fill out the required information

    4. Attach the item group from the drop-down list.

    5. Fill out the units, vendor, and cost, and branch information.

    Composition

    Create a composition group

    • 2.2.2. Composition items

      Before creating a composition item, make sure your menu item settings properly. (Go to Product> menu item: Composition item)

      • Go to “Composition” under inventory.
      • Create composition groups for organizing your composition product.
        Click and enter the group name to quickly add a group.
        Click to quickly modify the group name.
        Click spam to delete the Composition group or Composition.
      • Create a composition item under Composition Group
        Select a Group > Tap “Add Composition”

      • Integrate into your product menu
        Select a Category and Menu Item from the drop-down list. The Item number will be generated automatically once you save the change.
      • Grouping - organizing the composition items
        Select Composition Group from the drop-down list and Sort number. Write the description.
    • Add Inventory items(ingredients)
    • Click to select inventory items:
    • Select the inventory group and choose inventory items and click
    • Click items to select a unit, and click Create to finish creating a new composition.

    Vendor

    Create a Vendor and edit it.

     Click Vendor on the left, Vendors will be shown on the right list. Click spam to delete vendors.  

    Click the "+ Add Vendor" button on the top right to create a new vendor.

    • Fill in the form about basic information, such as Business name, Department, Main Contact, Address, Email, and phone.
    • Assign Users
      You are able to decide who can see and use this vendor information in the system.

    Inventory Control


    Go to Inventory> Inventory Control.

    You can set the Low Stock, Max Stock, Target Stock QTY of each branch.

    Select a branch to access

    Select any inventory group from the drop-down list.  View and edit the settings:  Low Stock, Max Stock, Target Stock QTY, and alert.

    • Low Stock QTY +  turn on the alert: This means the system will notify you when the QTY goes below the number.
    • Max Stock QTY +  turn on the alert: This means the system will notify you when the QTY is more than the number.
    • Target Stock QTY + turn on the alert: This means the system will have a default Order QTY when a store place inventory item is ordered in “Order Manager”

    Inventory Count


    • Check the inventory of each branch.


    • Select any inventory group from the drop-down list.

    • Display the cost which set up in the Inventory item.
    • Reported by store staff when they order things on "Order Manager"
