Guide to creating and selling weighted menu items

Create a weighted menu item

Products > Menu Item

1. Click "Add Item"
2. Enable "Scale Item"

3. Configure how you want to calculate the price of weighted items (Ex. by lb or by kg)

4. Input the price per weight you selected (Ex. $2 per pound)

Selling a weighed item

There are two scenarios of selling a weighed item on POS

Option 1: Scale is not connected

1. Select weighted menu item
2. Enter the weight and tap “confirm” to add the item to the order

Option 2: Scale is connected

1. Select weighted menu item
2. Click the item and see the scale screen popup
3. The item will be added to the order
