Step by Step Guide: Menu Item Modifications

This guide covers how to create modifiers for additional options for menu items such as toppings, seasonings, side dishes, etc.

Product > Modification

1. Select the branch you want the menu settings to apply to
2. Click on "Add Modifier Group"

Edit Modifier Group

Step 1: Enter Modifier Group Name

• If your POS uses only one language, enter the same name in both columns.
  • Ex. To display "Steak Temp" in English only, type "Steak Temp" in both the English and Chinese name fields.

• Request: You can only choose one option in request and this option is complimentary for customers
  • Ex. Steak Temperature: Rare, Medium, Medium Well, etc
• Side: You can choose from multiple options, each priced at a different price. The side addition/dish ingredient group has "max" and "min" functions to control the available options
  • Ex. Extra Meat, Bubble Tea Toppings
• Special Request:

Step 3: Activate/deactivate modification groups

• Active, Required, Self-Order, Online-Order
